Kylie Bender

Kylie Bender grew up in Folsom and now lives in Roseville. She has had a passion for art and anything creative since she was a kid. She was first introduced to the Creative Arts and Music Center by attending a few birthday parties when she was younger. Her favorite projects have always been ones that are hands-on and a bit messy. Other than painting, Kylie loves animals (especially wolves and bats), coffee, swimming, and traveling.
Kylie took art classes all throughout high school, and continued her art education by taking oil painting classes at Sierra College. She then continued her education at Sonoma State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. She previously spent over three years as a swim instructor which helped her decide that she wanted to pursue teaching as a career.
Currently, Kylie goes to William Jessup University, where she will be graduating with a Masters in Teaching and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential by the end of 2023. She then hopes to become a 2nd or 3rd grade Elementary school teacher, but will continue to grow as an artist for the rest of her life.
