OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE

As your children dive head first into this unique and demanding school year, it's important to remember that we - as parents - not only nourish the minds of our kids, but also their souls.

That is why CAM Center is providing options for everyone: because we believe that all of our students deserve a necessary creative outlet for expression, a chance to escape the hurdles of COVID-era learning, and the social interaction they desperately crave.

Whether your family prefers to attend on-site or join classes from the comfort of your home, we hope that you entrust us with bringing light to your child's life through the gift of art and music.

ON-SITE Art CLASSES

Please understand that our on-site classes are limited, and will be modified to adhere to state-issued health guidelines:

1. Class sizes will be low census (8 students maximum).

2. Students will maintain 6 ft social distancing whenever possible.

3. Everyone is requested to wear breathable face coverings (please bring from home; if needed, we will also have sterile masks available to borrow).

4. Everyone must sanitize or wash hands upon entering.

5. Students will have their own set of sterilized art supplies. Any shared items will be sterilized between uses.

6. Any students exhibiting fever, cough, or malaise will be asked to rest at home.

7. Drop-offs and pick-ups will occur on our spacious front lawn; adults are requested to remain outdoors.

8. Due to the unlimited nature of our art program, there are no make-ups or refunds.

UNLIMITED ONLINE ART PROGRAM

One-Month Tuition

Students will be a part of our “virtual classroom” experience via Cisco’s WebEx platform - where you can talk to your Teacher, see your fellow artist friends, and get real-time help with your project!

This package includes unlimited access to all age-appropriate online classes, plus one optional on-site class per week (depending on availability).

We will lend out monthly baskets filled with a bundle of art supplies: butcher paper to catch spills, a set of acrylic paints, paintbrushes, oil pastels, watercolors, even model magic! If you run out of anything, let us know so we can refill it.

Sign-up for a 7-Day Trial, complete with one-week of access and a basket of art supplies. Requires a $30 non-refundable deposit/materials fee.

Fine Arts

Students attending these 90-minute classes are introduced to all media: sketching, watercolor, acrylics, charcoals, oils, pastels, clay sculpture, etc. They will learn different techniques, the application of many media, and the tools of the arts. Styles include realism, expressionism, surrealism, pointillism, and more. Classes are taught by our talented, nurturing teachers! All materials are included. Fresh fruit and snacks are served - everything is organic and nut-free. (If you prefer your child not to be given a snack, or if your child has any allergies, please let us know!) Tuition: $110/month. Drop-in rate: $30/class.

bEGINNING dRAWING

During these 60-minute classes, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, including many skills that are essential to other art mediums. Students will work with charcoals, pencils, graphite, ink, pastels and watercolor. Tuition: $100/month. Drop-in rate: $30/class.

Ages 6+

advanced sketch

These 90-minute courses include exploration of technique, skill and tools, using both classical and creative approaches to drawing. Students will learn perspective, contour, gesture drawing, rendering of form, shadow, lighting and shading. Students will work with charcoals, pencils, graphite, ink, pastels and watercolor. Tuition: $110/month. Drop-in rate: $30/class.

Ages 9+

Wed 6pm

Cartooning

This fun 60-minute class teaches students how to create their own cartoon figures and comic strips. Cartoonists will learn to draw with perspective, action, and emotion - and are encouraged to use their own wild imaginations! Tuition: $100/month. Drop-in rate: $30/class.
