Alysha Laret is an aspiring artist based in Sacramento, California. Growing up there, Alysha has always been surrounded by nature and open spaces which have inspired her creativity. Art has been Alysha's passion for as long as she can remember. In high school, Alysha took all the art classes she could and really found her love for drawing and painting.
Currently, Alysha is studying fine arts at Folsom Lake College and will transfer to Utah Valley University online, this fall to earn her Bachelors in Fine Arts. She loves working with her hands, whether it's watercolors, acrylic paintings, or charcoal drawings.
When Alysha isn't creating, you'll find her outside hiking local trails or enjoying time with her big, crazy family. Alysha also recently spent some time in the Dominican Republic teaching English to elementary school kids, which was an amazing experience. Overall, Alysha's love of art, and learning through experiences like teaching and travel, continue to shape who she is and inspire her work.
